Anika Noni is an American actress and vocalist. She is best known for her role as Tiana the first Disney African-American princess in The Princess and the Frog. Disney Legends identified the actress as one of their 2011 stars. Rose appeared in Lorrell Robinson, from the Academy Award winning film Dreamgirls. Anika Noni rose (born on September 6, 1973) is an American actor and singer. She is best known for portraying Tiana Disney's first princess of African descent in The Princess and the Frog (2009). She also played Beneatha Younger, who played the Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun (2014) in which she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured actor in a Musical.
