Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo in the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. Silk is the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the first moments in her existence, such as attending rehearsals and watching of shows. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to advance, then she moved to Los Angeles California. She met her new spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an acting workshop held in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple was married civilly in December 2009. The couple got married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in the couple renewed their vows, following Silk's conversion to Judaism. Silk had a child that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk is well-known for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was nominated by for the Gemini Awards. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus, in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale. She announced the news to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4 of the show. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved television Couples.
