Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her part as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both scholars. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories include going to play rehearsals and watching her mother do her job. Silk appeared in several commercials while she was young. The year 1997 was the time she graduated with a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. Then she moved in Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an Actorsworkshop held at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, they were married civilly in December 2009. In Fredericton on April 10, 2011they renewed their vows following her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk got a baby who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13, 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May 2016. Silk is known for her tv role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she received nominations from her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. Her most notable role was in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during filming of season three's finale, and revealed this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th 2013 that the show was coming back for a fourth season of production. Fourth season premiered on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. The character she played Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top Television Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to an enormous online following through social networks.
